I chose Instacart as my first post on my website because if you haven’t used it and you are a busy mother and wife like me, you are missing out.
What is Instacart? It’s basically an online grocery shopping site where you can place orders at local stores and have it delivered right to your house.
How many times a week do I use this wonderful service? Two to three times easily. How much does this cost? $99 a year and it is WORTH every penny. First of all you save on gas. Second of all, my time is priceless so there’s that. Thirdly, all throughout the year, Instacart GIVES you money off. Right now I have $10 off at Target and $7 off at Walgreens. It literally pay for itself.
What to watch out for? Unless you are desperate – and believe me I have been ready to throw a birthday party and my balloon tank ran out of air and I would have paid ANYTHING to get one brought to my house – which Target did, look for stores that offer the “same price as in store”. In my area, it’s Food Lion. The funny thing is I rarely shopped there before using Instacart and now I love it!
