Metallica
On August 4 and 6th of 2023, Gavin and I were lucky enough to see one of our favorite Heavy Metal bands, Metallica, at Met Life Stadium in East Rutherford, NJ. I’m an 80’s kid and I wasn’t technically allowed to listen to them because it was considered “devil’s music” but hey, I was a teenager and don’t tell me I can’t do something, lol (even now!) I’m going to share a few pictures and hopefully a video or two below.
This is a picture of the stage, in the daylight, before the crowds moved in and the crazy people started drinking. We saw all sorts of interesting sites such as the man who pulled out a cigarette, lit it and stood up and started singing and dancing at the top of his lungs to the other people passing a joint with an actual bong. I’m thinking of how I stressed about what I was allowed to bring in and here is an actual bright green neon bong, lol.
Here is Lars, doing what he does best. He is truly amazing to watch.
